Payment
Payment for goods must be received in full before they are dispatched.  If paying by personal cheque is preferred, then please post your order to Malcolm Smith – Power Cleaning, 45 Roundponds, Melksham, Wiltshire. SN12 8DW making your cheque out to MALCOLM SMITH.  You will be sent an email confirming your order and a paid invoice will be enclosed with the goods.

Delivery
Goods (chemicals, spares, fittings ) will be suitably wrapped to protect them and will usually be dispatched within 48 hours of receiving a fully paid order.

 

Kranzle pumps about 1-4 working days.

 

Engine driven pumps & other equipment will take a bit longer (about one week to two) from order to delivery date. For Falch and other items "special orders" please ask at time of ordering.

Returns
Goods can only be returned if damaged or faulty and must be in their original packaging.  Returned goods must be received within 14 days of their dispatch.

Refunds of unwanted goods
Goods will be refunded if they are returned to us unused, and in their original condition with cans seals unbroken, including packaging, within 14 days from receiving your delivery.

Customers must make their own arrangements for returning such goods at their own cost.

You should ensure that items are properly packaged and insured against loss and damage before returning them to the address shown on your delivery note, together with a copy of your invoice and a short note explaining that you would like a refund.

Original delivery charges are non-refundable.

A minimum 15% restocking fee plus VAT will be charged on returned goods, this is to help cover PayPal & credit card costs and original delivery costs etc

The Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment Regulations
Helping to recycle your electrical equipment

Why are we involved?
Recycling facilities are now available for all customers at which you can
deposit your old electrical products. This is a requirement under UK and
European legislation (The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment –
or WEEE – Directive).

The aim of the legislation is to;
• Make good use of the materials that make up old electrical equipment
by recycling rather than disposing in landfill.
• Prevent the negative environmental effects of sending often hazardous
electrical equipment to landfill.

Customers will be able to take any old electrical equipment to
participating civic amenity sites (often known as ‘household waste
recycling centres’) run by their local councils. Please remember that this
equipment will be further handled during the recycling process, so please
be considerate when depositing your equipment.
Funding collected through the Distributor Take Back Scheme has been
distributed between all Local Authorities in the UK to ensure the
provision of improved recycling facilities. Producers of these products will
then ensure that deposited items are taken away and recycled.

Where to dispose of electrical equipment?
Wherever practical, old electrical waste should NOT be disposed of with
your household waste.
